At a site I found yesterday my 11-B helped to recover two wonderful finds: a late 1700s cast pewter flat button and a 1820 large cent. The large cent is pretty crusty, but I'll take it any day. They both rang in loud with the 10 inch coil. I still love my Nautilus after all these years, especially at clean older sites. This site is 2.5 miles in the woods. It shows up on an early 1850s map but is missing from all 1866 and later maps. I have many hours invested in finding it and I only had 30 minutes to hunt after searching for it most of the day. It is untouched other than loggers that recently cut there, luckily they did not disturb this spot much. Its locked into the GPS and I'm going back soon. I'm hopeful it is going to be a productive site.
